Top Attractions at Epcot

Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow or more commonly know as Epcot is the 2nd park that was opened in Disney World. This park has a great balance of both a children's atmosphere and adult atmosphere. With so much to see this can easily be one of the best experiences while you visit Disney World. Epcot is one of C & K's favorite places to go for the cultural experience, but also the attractions there! Let's get right into our top attractions at Epcot!

1.World Showcase

This in itself can be a whole different post with tons of information. For this particular list, it is a must. The World Showcase has 11 countries represented ( France, Mexico, Norway, China, Germany, Italy, United States, Japan, Morocco, United Kingdom, and Canada). Within these countries you have all sorts of things to do. Anything from shopping, restaurants, and some fun attractions. It is also fun to talk with cast members because the cast members from each country are actually from the country they represent. This makes the time in the World Showcase more of an authentic experience!

2.Soarin'

What cannot be said about how awesome Soarin' is. Soarin' is a simulation attraction in which you feel like you are hang gliding through the state of California. This ride does elevate you so be prepared if you are not a person who likes heights. If you can get over that fear, GO ON THIS RIDE. It is a majestic portrayal of flying through so many landscapes. You might even see a park that you recognize!

3. The Seas with Nemo & Friends

If you are an aquarium lover like C & K are then The Seas with Nemo & Friends is a great attraction for you! This ride is an saltwater aquarium in which you are taken through the story of Finding Nemo. You step into a clam shape seat and the fun begins. As you go through the story you see your favorite characters from Finding Nemo project with actual fish that are in the aquarium. It is a very fun atmosphere and a nice break from walking as well!

4. Mission: Space

This is a great thrill ride in Epcot. This ride gives the experience of being an astronaut. You go through a simulation of astronaut training and you are ready for the mission to Mars! Before you board you are assigned a role in which you must fulfill in order for the launch to be successful. There are two different versions of this ride: the Green Team (Less intense) and the Orange Team  (Original with all the bells and whistles). If you are an adventurer of space this is a must ride when visiting Epcot!

5. Living with the Land

Living with the Land is a boat ride in which you get a greater understanding of what our Earth is all about. You are taken through different scenes that explain many interesting things about how our Earth functions. You are also taken through a greenhouse and see all of the interesting plants Disney grows in this greenhouse. Many people will say skip this attraction because it is boring or not fun. Well, not us. We love this attraction and it allows you to have a great appreciation for our world and to see how important it is to our friends at Disney.

Now as you may have noticed there is a certain attraction in Epcot that we left off that might get people up in arms. Unfortunately, we just do not believe that certain attraction is up to par with these. We also have different interests than what this attraction gives. We still believe it is good, just not as good as these!

Did we miss something? Should something not be here? We would love to hear your thoughts!
